Both Vermont and New Hampshire have 2-1-1 databases containing detailed descriptions of programs and services that are provided by local community groups, social service and health-related agencies, government organizations, and others. You can find information by dialing 2-1-1 on your phone or visit their websites:

Resources:

• Child Care for Essential Workers: The State of Vermont – Office of Emergency Management has a web-based form (click here) to help ensure childcare for essential workers. Click here for a list of essential positions that qualify for services.
• Family Services Division: COVID-19 specific guidance, links, and documents have been added to the Department for Children and Families’ website. There is specific and current guidance for: community partners; foster and kinship foster parents; parents involved with DCF; and residential treatment providers.
• Food Access: Hunger Free Vermont maintains up-to-date information about how all Vermonters can access food during the COVID-19 outbreak.
• Legal and Public Benefits Updates for Vermonters: Vermont Legal Aid has a list of important changes in the way Vermont courts are operating, changes to public benefits, and more.
